          Spring 2008 Tours

          We had outstanding photo opportunities with this years photo tours. This year I did 2 scheduled tours in April,  in May I did  one scheduled tour and two custom tours. We were very fortunate with excellent weather and exceptional photo opportunities for each shoot.

          The Rookery at Jefferson Island, already great in 2007, became even better. Now there are Roseate Spoonbills nesting close enough for full frame shots with 500 & 600 mm lenses. We also did very well at Millers Lake, getting one really great opportunity with a Purple Gallinule and numerous nesting Ibis, Little Blue Herons, Cattle Egrets, and Snowy Egrets.
