Fall / Winter Louisiana Nature Photo Tour

          December 7 - 10, 2008
          January 18 - 21, 2009
A photo tour of Southwestern Louisiana in late fall and winter.  The tour feature two boat tours in the Atchafalaya Basin.  The December tour frequently features Cypress in the Atchafalaya Basin in beautiful fall foliage. While not often thought of for fall foliage, the rust colored foliage on the trees growing in the water can be quite spectacular. Then frequently in January we experience foggy landscapes that can be equally spectacular. In addition, we will be photographing large flocks of snow geese. While more elusive than other locations, Southwestern Louisiana has the largest concentration of Water Fowl in the United States being the convergence of the Mississippi and Central Flyways.
